Singer/Songwriter Carrie Newcomer will be in concert on Friday, Feb. 15. The Chaplains' Office has reserved a 10-passenger van to transport interested people to the concert. We will meet to depart at 5:30 p.m. from Three Flags. Carrie Newcomer has been to Gustavus three times over the past several years. Rolling Stone comments: "Rapturously tuneful, Newcomer's material asks all the right questions and refuses to settle for easy answers." A spiritual, activist, itinerant folk singer, Newcomer is preparing to release her new album "The Geography of Light".
