Instructional Infrastructure Advisory Committee (IIAC)
Charge
- To review and recommend policies and create strategic plans related to curricular, departmental, student, faculty, and institutional usage of information technology.
- To review and recommend requests for computer hardware by faculty and academic departments to the Dean and the Director of Information Technology.
- To promote communication between the faculty and the departments of Information Technology, Administrative Computing, Media Services, Telecommunications, Web Communications, and the Library.
Membership
- One current member of the Academic Operations Committee, elected by the AOC.
- One faculty representative selected by each of the five divisions of the College. These will be nominated and elected by each division and will serve staggered three-year terms.
- The voting members will elect a committee chair.
- Ex officio: Dean of Faculty or designee, Director of Information Technology, Director of Library, Director of Media Services, Director of Administrative Computing, Director of Telecommunications, Director of Web Communications. Ex Officio members do not vote except as deemed necessary by faculty members of the committee.
