Mission
To provide Gustavus Economics and Management majors with relevant business information and experience through personal and professional mentoring relationships with successful Gustavus alumni.
Vision
To develop a prestigious state-of-the-art mentoring program that produces knowledgeable and experienced Economics and Management graduates who will be ensured a competitive advantage as they enter the workplace.
Goals for this Pilot
- Assemble 10-15 male and female Gustavus alumni interested in mentoring current Gustavus students
- Select 10-15 current Gustavus Economics and Management majors interested in participating in a business mentoring and leadership program
- Initiate a mentoring program that will pair each of these Gustavus students with an alumni businessperson in their field of interest
- Evaluate the success of this pilot at the end of the 2010–2011 school year, utilize feedback to improve the program, and launch it on a larger scale for the fall of 2011
