Mission

To provide Gustavus Economics and Management majors with relevant business information and experience through personal and professional mentoring relationships with successful Gustavus alumni.

Vision

To develop a prestigious state-of-the-art mentoring program that produces knowledgeable and experienced Economics and Management graduates who will be ensured a competitive advantage as they enter the workplace.

Goals for this Pilot

  1. Assemble 10-15 male and female Gustavus alumni interested in mentoring current Gustavus students
  2. Select 10-15 current Gustavus Economics and Management majors interested in participating in a business mentoring and leadership program
  3. Initiate a mentoring program that will pair each of these Gustavus students with an alumni businessperson in their field of interest
  4. Evaluate the success of this pilot at the end of the 2010–2011 school year, utilize feedback to improve the program, and launch it on a larger scale for the fall of 2011
