ABSTRACT:
Nytt och Gammalt: Kristlig Tidskrift (New and Old: Christian Publication) was the first Swedish language paper published in Kansas.  The paper included sermons, devotional items, as well as reports of church meetings and news of the Augustana Synod.  The paper merged with Det Rätta Hemlandet och Augustana, Luthersk Kyrkotidning, and Missionären to form Augustana and unite Swedish religious periodicals in the interest of unity.
