ABSTRACT:
Det Rätta Hemlandet was a Swedish language periodical published through the Augustana Synod and later by the Swedish Lutheran Publication Society under the Mississippi Conference of the Synod of Northern Illinois.  It was a devotional and theological journal devoted to religious articles, mission information, hymns, and sermons.  Publication was followed by Rätta Hemlandet och Missionsbladet in 1863.
