ABSTRACT:
The North Star College collection consists of correspondence, commencement announcements, financial information, programs, and yearly
reports. North Star College was established by Rev. E.O. Chelgren, in Warren, Minnesota in 1908. It was owned and controlled by members of the Swedish Lutheran Augustana Synod, but the school was open to students from all denominations. In spite of the name College, North Star was actually a secondary school. The institution closed in 1936.
