ABSTRACT:
The National Namibia Conference collection contains much of the paperwork pertaining to the preparation of this conference at Gustavus Adolphus College. The conference addressed South Africa’s occupation of Namibia. This collection also features documentation from the conference and post-conference correspondence. In addition, the campus celebrated the independence of Namibia with an Independence Day Service in the chapel. Included are hymns, newsletters, memos, recordings of conference speakers, posters, schedules, and other documents.
