ABSTRACT:
The Irene Anderson Jeffers collection contains the Class of 1930’s 25^th Anniversary booklet, Irene’s membership certificate into Pi Gamma Mu, the National Social Science Honor Society, and photographs, mostly from her time at Gustavus Adolphus College.  Photographs include many images of women’s sports, along with men’s sports, theatre performances, and buildings on campus.  Anderson graduated from Gustavus in 1930, and she returned to teach Physical Education from 1933-43.  John Jeffers, Irene’s husband, graduated in 1939.
