SVEA Society.  Minutes and Records of the SVEA Society, 1907-1982.  CAMC Collection 25.  1 Hollinger Box.


ABSTRACT:
The SVEA Society collection contains records of this sick-benefit society, including minutes from meetings, information on member fees and payouts, and two copies of the constitution published in 1942.  The society was organized to help members financially while they are unable to work due to sickness or injury.  Many of the records are in Swedish with English appearing after 1920.  A few society members were from the Gustavus faculty and administration.
