ABSTRACT:
The Wilbur Porter collection consists of a typed account of Porter’s grandparents, Anders Jaenson and his second wife Helena Nilson, including their journeys to Minnesota and various stories of their lives.  Also included is an autobiographical account by Porter, who attended Gustavus Adolphus College from 1922-1926.
