When?

First year students have until June 1, 2024* to submit the enrollment deposit. *After June 1, accepting your deposit depends on available space in our first-year class. Admitted transfer students have until August to make their final decision.

Why?

Receipt of your deposit signals your official intention to enroll at Gustavus, so you should send your $300 non-refundable enrollment deposit as soon as you're certain Gustavus is the right college fit. Paying the enrollment deposit kickstarts the next steps, like registering for housing and fall classes.

How?

1. Reply to your offer of admission.
   1. Log into your Gustavus Applicant Portal.
   2. In the Things to Do Now section, click on the Forms button and look for the Admission Decision Reply Form. (Don't see the form? Then you haven't opened your decision letter yet. Click on the bell icon at the top of the page and the View Decision button. After reading your letter, return to the portal and you'll see the reply form.)
2. Pay your deposit.
   1. Complete the Admission Decision Reply form.
   2. Pay by credit card or bank account. 

What's Next?

Thank you! After receiving your deposit, preparations will begin for your arrival in the fall. Beginning in March and throughout the spring and summer, you will receive mailings about housing, class registration, and other enrollment information.
