Meeting with Accessibility ResourcesAccessibility Resources
Students may meet with Accessibility Resources staff for the following reasons:
- Following up on the effectiveness of academic accommodations
- Academic Strategies
- Studying, test taking, college-level expectations
- Time Management
- Using a calendar system to structure time
- Methods of organization
- Communicating with professors
- Coaching and modeling conversations with professors regarding accommodations and individual learning needs
- Self-Awareness
- Helping students realize personal learning strengths and challenges
- Determining if additional diagnostic testing or assessment is needed
- Identifying and accessing other campus and community resources to aid in success, such as:
- Career Development, Counseling Center, departmental tutors, Health Services, Professor’s office hours, and Writing Center
