  • Current employment: Robbinsdale Area Schools.
  • Have you been able to use your Spanish post-graduation? Teaching, sometimes young Spanish learners, sometimes Mexican youth learning English, and sometimes teaching pottery in Spanish. Most recently teaching Spanish Immersion 7th graders

  • Current employment: Instructor of Spanish, College of St. Benedicts/St. Johns University.
  • Have you been able to use your Spanish post-graduation? I graduated with the career goal to teach Spanish at the college level. So, after graduation, I attended graduate school at San Diego State University. I have been teaching Spanish since September 2001. In addition to using Spanish in graduate School I was able to use my Spanish in daily exchanges in San Diego due to the high Hispanic population. Upon returning to MN, I have used Spanish on occasion while working at a Bridal Shop, a Greenhouse and a Produce Farm (In addition to teaching at CSB/SJU)

  • Current employment: District School Board of Pasco County, FL.
  • Have you been able to use your Spanish post-graduation? I am completing my Master's in Educational Leadership and believe my bilingual abilities will make me quite "Marketable". I have also volunteered for many organizations that work with Spanish-speaking individuals. I have found Spanish helpful in everyday life, helping costumers at Super Wal-Mart, etc.
