Meet some Neuroscience Minors!
2013
Tyler Mulcahey ‘13
Major: Psychology
Minor: Neuroscience
I haven’t completed any neuroscience courses yet, but I am looking forward to begin Spring 2011 semester. I chose neuroscience as my minor because the brain and how the body works interest me. I’m a pre-medicine student who plans on attending medical school to become an anesthesiologist. My summer plans include lifeguarding at Noah’s Ark Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin and shadowing a variety of physicians in my local hospital.
Erica Hett ‘13
Majors: Biology and Psychological Science
Minor: Neuroscience
Interests: I'm on the Cross Country team and Nordic Ski team here at Gustavus
Future plans: Attend graduate school next year in a doctorate program in Physical Therapy at the University of Minnesota or a different school.
Katelyn Warburton ‘13
Majors: Psychological Science and Sociology/Anthropology
Minor: Neuroscience Minor
Experience/Interests: I am currently starting an honors research project on racial influence of teacher-student relationship for children in a classroom setting. I have done past research on perception and attention in college students as well as word learning in children. In my spare time I enjoy baking, working out, reading, spending time with family/friends, watching football
Future Plans: HOPEFULLY I will be going to graduate school for either International Leadership or Comparitive and International Development Education...ideally I will someday work for a non-profit or government agency to advocate childrens' education...either immigrants/refugees in our country or work in Africa on educational development in Uganda
