ARTICLE I NAME The name of this organization shall be the Gustavus Interfaith Forum. ARTICLE II PURPOSE The Gustavus Interfaith Forum pledges to promote exploration and understanding of a variety of religious and faith traditions. We hope to foster a community that values interfaith communication and personal spiritual development. ARTICLE III MEMBERSHIP Everyone is allowed and encouraged to attend meetings and participate in activities and discussion. However, any intentional action of hate will not be tolerated. ARTICLE IV EXECUTIVE BOARD The executive board shall consist of a president and vice president or two co-presidents, a secretary, and a treasurer. Any other titles/roles may be created and admitted into the Executive Board by majority vote of the president(s) and vice president, secretary, and treasurer collectively. All added positions have the aforementioned responsibilities attributed to the explicitly mentioned positions. In addition, any titles/roles added to the executive board may be removed by the entirety of the executive board, excluding the position in question, must unanimously agree to remove the position. ARTICLE V EXECUTIVE BOARD SUCCESSION Successors will be directly selected by executive board members. If there is no viable candidate, a vacancy will be held until a suitable candidate can be appointed by the executive board. ARTICLE VI AMENDING THE CONSTITUTION If the group decides to amend the Constitution, the proposed amendment must be submitted at a group meeting. Then, the email list must be notified immediately after that meeting with a final vote occurring at the next regular scheduled meeting.
