ACSM Sit-Up Test

Sit-Up TestThis test determines the level of abdominal endurance. The participant is asked to perform as many sit-ups as he/she can to a rhythm of 40 beats per minute (bpm). This test is performed with the client's arms at his/her side. The client reaches forward to a designated line on the mat. The test is terminated if the participant fails to touch the line, reaches 75 sit-ups or requests to stop.
