SupportWellbeing
The Wellbeing Initiative was established through the vision and benevolence of Tim (’83) and Elaine Peterson. We are grateful to the Petersons, who recognized the need for a deeper commitment to advancing whole person living. We invite you to join the Petersons to serve as a catalyst in creating a culture of wellbeing at Gustavus: When we live well, we can lead and serve well. Please contact our Director, Meghan Krause (mkrause2@gustavus.edu or 507-933-7707), to discuss the following opportunities to endow the Wellbeing Center.
Endow the Wellbeing Center
The Wellbeing Center welcomes individuals and organizations who share our belief that our ability to meet the challenges of a world in need resides in a deeper commitment to individual and collective wellbeing. Your financial support to endow the Wellbeing Center will ensure our efforts can benefit the Gustavus community for years to come:
- Offer Scholarships for Students: Students from every major are attracted to the Wellbeing Initiative’s programs, services, and resources because they value the unique experiences we offer. Help support student research and co-curricular participation dedicated to changing the world for the better.
- Fund Faculty Research and Curriculum Development: For decades, Gustavus faculty members have pursued wellbeing-related research and curricula. As the College establishes an even bigger commitment to wellbeing, the Wellbeing Center plays a key role in supporting future efforts.
- Support College-Wide Programs and Services: The Wellbeing Center is dedicated to integrating wellbeing resources in existing on-campus programs and services, while also developing new opportunities for students, employees, alumni, and friends.
